A lot of business owners put off investing in their personal brand photoshoot (or business headshot photoshoot) because they don’t know what location to choose.
As a Brighton and Hove (Sussex) based professional female portrait photographer I’ve learned that my clients sometimes find a public space (like a local cafe, shop, co-working space or outdoor area) might feel to overwhelming (here are 10 locations for your portrait photo shoot if you don’t feel that way).
For others, renting an Airbnb or co-working office within Sussex area for a day is far too expensive.
So here’s an idea: Use your own house as a location for your upcoming portrait photo-session?
You don’t need big, modern, super stylised house with floor to ceiling windows.
All you need is little tidy up of your house, flat or apartment and then I will do my magic. With my eye as a female photographer, I’m happy to move anything that might be a distraction during the shoot.
Trust me.
Don’t worry if your space seems too small or too dark. I have professional lighting equipment which will inject more light if a natural source of light is not not strong enough.
Top 8 reasons why you should use your house for your upcoming lifestyle branding portrait photoshoot:
Your house offers privacy and intimacy which is perfect if you’re a little bit camera shy or it’s your first professional portrait photoshoot
Your house will make you feel comfortable and safe on the day of the photoshoot
