Intuitive Abstract Art Journaling Painting Workshop 9th February
Intuitive Abstract Art Journaling Painting Workshop 9th February
Re-connect with your creative side at an intuitive abstract ART + JOURNALING painting workshop nestled in my private art studio at the back of my garden in Brighton & Hove.
Ifyou’re looking for a regular painting practise that you can do in the comfort of your own home, this art class is for you.
You will take your morning page (daily journaling practice) to the next level by learning to express yourself with colours, shapes and texture and create a piece of artwork that reflects your innermost feelings.
You will let go of perfectionism by resisting the urge to paint “pretty”, or “perfect” or “easy”…. you will have a full permission to be free, spontaneous, brave and messy.
You will discover abstract mark-making and layering process with collage, intuitive drawing and painting techniques (no artistic experience is necessary).
Unique opportunity to experiment with different mixed media art materials: acrylic, gesso and watercolour paint, pastels, charcoal and other art materials.
This 3 hour long painting workshop will enable you to untangle difficult emotions, tap into your intuition and reconnect with yourself in a creative way without using words.
What to expect:
Grounding Circle: Begin by setting intention and embodiment exercises (breath &/or meditation) to help you ground, become more present and open to the free-flowing creative state.
Playful Exploration: Together, we will explore various art materials like acrylics, gesso, charcoal, pastels and my favourite abstract painting techniques. All centred around experimentation, expression and letting go…
Art Journaling: express thoughts, feelings and emotions with wide range of art journaling approaches and techniques
Meaningful Connection: Bond with other participants over herbal tea and delicious nourishing treats in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. If the weather permit we will take a full advantage of time in the secret garden.
This isn't just a painting workshop or art class in Brighton; it's a safe space for rediscovery, self-expression and healing on your personal journey.

I spent years browsing art shops, buying supplies but never using them.
I spent years focusing on a corporate career, success, recognition and things that didn’t fill me with joy instead of making space for creativity.
Now, I feel incredibly lucky because I get to do things that makes me excited to wake up in the morning!
And . . .
I understand that it can be hard to make time for creativity.
That’s why I created PAINT with ME, the most experimental abstract painting workshops and courses in professional Brighton art studio where all art materials, large canvas and lunch is provided.
Looking forward to paint with you.
Magdalena
“I am still buzzing after the painting experience “if only my art teacher at school had been more like Magdalena!”. You have opened up my creative side (that I knew was hidden deep within). We are in now in the process of setting up an art space in the garage! Massive thank you for providing such a delightful, informative and inspiring workshop. Your technique and delivery puts the afraid, anxious and doubtful at ease. What a wonderful talent you have.”
Please note: This is not about creating beautiful art or being good at painting. It’s a way to express yourself, experiment with art materials while having fun. With abstract painting there is no right or wrong so you can’t make mistakes. Your hands will move intuitively, without thought. I will be there to inspire you and guid you. Together we will learn to let go, surrender and see what emerges in front of us. No previous experience is required.
Cancelation Policy: due to the nature of the workshop (art supplies and canvases purchased in advance, limited capacity in the professional art studio) I will not be able to offer a full refund once a purchase has been made for any reason. If you cancel and give me at least 4 weeks notice, you will receive a refund of 50% or a possibility to transfer your booking to another future event if there are spaces available. If you cancel after the 4 week cut-off date no refund can be issued.
