“Shedding skin" 80cm x 100cm
This expressive abstract painting “Shedding skin” is inspired by the transformation period in which the snake peels off its skin. We often have to do the same; going inwards to release what’s no longer helping us.
Rather than suppress, silence, deny and make my emotions invisible, I do sit with them.
I do express them.
I look into them.
I try to go deeper to the source of the emotion and process them eventually... to heal.
We paint our life with a palette of bright colours to the public, while a darker pallet of colours are never used.
Metallic gold and green acrylic paint, using mixed media techniques on large deep edge canvas ready to hang on your wall.
