Lifestyle portrait photography with productivity coach and artist from Brighton

This portrait photos session was spontaneous! It was unique. It was honest. And I loved that.

Yes, you heard it right.

You can spend a lot of time planning, designing and organising your professional portrait photoshoot or (like Moyra) wake up and make it happen by booking 1.5 hour personal brand photoshoot in my Brighton & Hove house studio.

Meet Moyra Scott, who is a well known local Brighton based artist, coach, mother, business owner, dreamer and productivity expert.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Moyra on multiple art, photography and filming projects over the years but this lifestyle personal branding portrait photo session in my home studio was all about showcasing Moyra’s other passion - being a productivity coach!

Moyra Scott is a productivity coach working with with corporates, creative entrepreneurs and business owners who are ready to take themselves seriously and make a difference.

Sometimes less is more when it comes to capturing expressive portrait and headshots for your business.

  1. During the photoshoot Moyra was relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. That was easy because we weren’t in a public place. We used my home photography studio as the main location.

We moved around the house, used all rooms as backdrops and even took some pictures outdoors in the garden.

2. We injected Moyra’s brand colours and personality by incorporating eye catching props and a few outfit changes to create a variety of unique business headshots and lifestyle portraits (read: what to wear o your portrait brand photoshoot).

3. We decided to mix business and creative style portrait photography. This is a refreshing approach to the traditional headshot photography you normally see. It’s not boring and has a scroll-stopping effect on social media.

The main focus of this professional photoshoot was to capture the business side of Moyra. However, since Moyra is a creative soul, a local Brighton artist who paints on large canvases, we ensured that this element is still reflected in pictures.

Remember why you’re booking a portrait photo session!

Having professionally taken portraits and headshots is about capturing something unique and authentic so you can confidently share the images on social media with a wider audience and reach more potential clients.

Your ideal clients want to know more about the person behind the brand, so let’s give that to them.
