As a professional portrait photographer based in Brighton, often in London, sometimes I am asked if I can do a short 15-20 minute or “mini brand brand portrait photoshoot”.

Unfortunately, I have to turn these enquiries down because my heart just isn’t into it.

A professional brand portrait photoshoot is more than just taking quick headshot picture of you.

Like anything in life, to create something beautiful, creative and unique, it takes time and energy. Especially if you’re a little bit camera shy or it’s your first professional photo-session with a portrait photographer.

Why would you rush?

Some things can’t be rushed, do you agree?

And this approach applies to any photoshoot, indoor or outdoor.

To capture beautiful, relaxed, authentic and professional looking brand portraits of you takes time.

My goal is to make sure you’re happy with the final results so you can:

How long does the portrait or headshot photoshoot take?

The shortest portrait photoshoot I can do is 45 minutes to one hour, because I truly believe we need time to reflect your personality on the day. We need to consider:

• your vision of the photoshoot

• your brand message

• your ideal client

• what type of emotions and feelings you wish your brand images to convey and many more….

  Up to one hour indoor or outdoor brand photoshoot is perfect if it’s your first experience of facing the camera and looking to update your portfolio with a fresh bank of headshots images of you. Or if you’re looking to launch your brand, website or crate a new product, service or offer.

Yet, my favourite length of brand photoshoot is 2 hours together or even half day together as it give us an opportunity to explore multiple locations, looks, stories, behind the scenes of your business and many more.

Together we can tell your story in an authentic way.

It’s more than just pressing the camera button for me.

For me it’s a all about connection, getting to know each other, creating and holding a safe space for you to express who you are.

This is why my lovely clients come back over and over again.
