Being in front of the camera can be intimating for some people, and if you are a little camera shy like me (yes, as a female photographer I also get shy in front of the camera) being in nature can help you to feel much more relaxed and peaceful.
Nature has this beautiful quality which helps you to slow down and to disconnect from your busy lifestyle. I take a full advantage of this personally and during photoshoot with my clients within Sussex area, Brighton & Hove..

As a female portrait photographer, I often witness the transformation that my clients go through during a professional photo session with me in nature!
From being a little bit:

sometimes vulnerable
perhaps lacking confidence

And this happens because we intentionally choose an outdoor location rather than four walls and harsh lighting in the professional photography studio.
Why is an outdoor professional portrait photoshoot perfect if you are little bit camera shy (like me)?
The right outdoor location will reinforce your personal story, which defines your mission.
The energy of Mother Nature helps to create images with a unique feel and mood.
Nature also brings grounding qualities and enables us to fully express ourselves.
It gives us a deeper sense of freedom and wellbeing that is clearly reflected in the photos I take during the outdoor sessions.
Nature inspires and offers many creative backdrops, from green landscapes to blue sea. We play with the light, the sun, the elements, the shapes of trees, the colours of flowers and leaves.
Beautiful natural soft light is flattering for all skin types.
Nature has relaxing and healing qualities. Outdoor surrounding (singing birds, green leaves, sun shining) will relax you and you will very quickly forget that you are having a photo session with me.
Outdoor photo session offers more intimacy. I know quite hidden places. There won’t be many people around while your portrait is being taken which is a bonus!
The location choice will therefore have a significant impact on the entire experience on the day.
And trust me… you will fall in love with it just like I have and my clients have too!
