5 tips to improve your marketing communication- Brand Portrait Photoshoot with founder of Marketing Pickle based in Sussex Brighton & Hove
When it comes making your business visible on social media, combining visual brand images with well-written marketing communication is the key to be seen and heard.
But where to start?
What to prioritise when it comes to planning your marketing communication strategy when you’re a busy business owner?
How to make the difference between someone clicking, engaging, taking action versus leaving your website or scrolling past the ad?
As a UK professional brand photographer who left 9-5 finance corporate job in London and moved to Sussex, Brighton & Hove, I focused all of my energy and attention on doing what I love the most: designing the the best brand portrait & headshot photoshoots for my clients and editing images so they can realise their business dreams (whatever they might be).
With time, I realised that I was running my business without any marketing strategy.
I realised that I had no experience of writing powerful marketing copy which attracts, engages, educates, influences and sells.
I felt a little bit stuck or overwhelmed every time I opened my social media accounts: Instagram, FB business page or Linkedin… until I met Lindsay.
Meet Lindsay Carr, founder of Marketing Pickle with 15 years of brand marketing consulting experience.
Together we created authentic relaxed brand portrait & headshot images for her new website in my house studio here in Sussex, Brighton & Hove.
As a female portrait photographer who as well is a camera shy (yes, I am!), I gently guided Lindsay during the photoshoot by sharing tips how to relax and look natural and authentic in front of the camera.
During our time together, we both learned the importance of being visible, showing the face of person behind the brand across website & social media and how important is to have a clear marketing strategy in place if you want to grow your business.
I learned that with time and practice I can apply subtle tweaks to the massaging and language which make the difference between someone clicking, engaging, taking action versus leaving the site or scrolling past the ad.
The best part is that Marketing Pickle can take marketing off our plate so we can focus on the parts of our business which energised us rather drain us. In my case photographing amazing purpose driven women who are on a mission to follow their purpose like Lindsay.
