This festive abstract painting workshop isn't just about making beautiful decorations, it also enables you to offer heartfelt gifts to your loved ones. Each piece will be a reflection of your creativity, making your winter holiday greetings truly special and personal.
What to expect:
Paint your own Xmas ceramic baubles (5 pieces). These 6cm baubles serve as the perfect blank canvas, allowing you to create distinctive, personalized ornaments to brighten up your Christmas tree (perfect personalised Xmas gift too). Each reflecting your creativity and individuality.
Make your own Xmas cards collection (12 cards). Unleash your creativity as you explore dynamic and intuitive abstract painting techniques on paper. It's perfect for all skill levels. With a bold colour palette and fast brush movement, you'll embrace the joy of creating without expectations. Best of all, you'll take home a unique collection of mini-abstract artworks to be used as Christmas / greeting cards or framed by you at home (perfect personalised Xmas gift).
Playful exploration: You’ll have the freedom to explore a variety of art materials, including acrylics, spray paint, and more, providing endless possibilities for your self-expression. Because it's a small group workshop, plenty of 1:1 guidance from Magdalena to be expected.
Meaningful Connection: Bond with other lovely participants over Belgium hot chocolate (or mushroom late) and delicious nourishing treats & cake in a friendly and supportive atmosphere in my private art studio. All focussed around deepening connections with yourself, others, encouraging creativity and festivity.
This 3.5 hour Xmas painting workshop will take place in my private Art studio in Brighton & Hove, Sussex UK, 1 hour from London. We will take full advantage of time in the garden (weather permitting), enjoying hot chocolate around the fire pit. This is a unique semi-private experience, max 5 participants.
Who is this event for?
This safe space welcomes everyone who wants to reconnect with their creative spark and embrace the joy of spontaneous, experimental and expressive painting without the pressure to create something perfect. Suitable for adults (and teenagers).
Don't worry if you think you're not creative or can't paint. This painting workshop is a safe space for everyone, including beginners and those who haven't picked up a paintbrush in a while. You'll be amazed at what happens when you let go of limiting beliefs and feel free to express yourself.

Please note: This is not about creating beautiful art or being good at painting. It’s a way to express yourself, experiment with art materials while having fun. With abstract painting there is no right or wrong so you can’t make mistakes. Your hands will move intuitively, without thought. I will be there to inspire you and guid you. Together we will learn to let go, surrender and see what emerges in front of us. No previous experience is required.
