This vibrant contemporary large abstract painting, ‘Home Coming,’ is inspired by a personal longing to reconnect with my homeland. Since Covid, I haven’t had a chance to go back to the Polish mountains, where I spent the happiest days of my childhood.

This longing was spontaneously expressed through colours, shapes and textures, while I was painting this intuitive landscape abstract piece. Using my favourite vibrant palette, expressive marks, lines, shapes and multiple colourful layers I mapped up my inner and outer landscape while dreaming of the place I love and a time long since past.
